Open Education Week
Open Education Week is March 4-8*
What is Open Education you may ask? According to Open Source, Open Education is a philosophy of teaching that promotes the belief that everyone should have access to high-quality educational experiences and resources and work towards eliminating barriers to this goal.
What does Open Education look like? If you are a professor or an instructor this may look like incorporating free and accessible learning materials into your curriculum. If you are a student, this can look like a class that does not require you to purchase textbooks.
