Not planning on returning to Clark College for winter quarter? Please let us know why – help may be available
We are in the home stretch for fall term and many students are registering for winter and spring terms. However, there might be some of you who are not sure about returning, or maybe you feel you aren’t in a good place to continue your education at Clark.
If, for whatever reason, you don’t plan on returning to Clark College for winter quarter, our Dean of Student Engagement, Cath Busha, wants to know why.
Please email Cath at: cbusha at clark dot edu (trying to stop those pesky spam bots by spelling out Dean Busha’s email address) and include the reason(s) you’re not returning to Clark College for winter quarter. Why does Dean Busha want to know? Because depending on your reason(s), help may be available to you. What sort of help? I’m so glad you asked. Clark has:
- Academic coaches
- Tutors
- The ability to apply for support for childcare, housing and financial assistance
We also have the Penguin Pantry, which provides daily grab and go snacks as well as weekly groceries for currently enrolled students.
Students can also receive 10 free counseling sessions a year.
If you’re having trouble finding classes, Advising can help.
If you’re feeling like you don’t quite belong at Clark College, share why in your email and Cath may be able to suggest some groups, departments or people that can help you feel more connected.
If you’re not sure about your career path, a meeting with the Career Services can guide you.
Cath also wants to know if the reason you’re not returning is because you didn’t have a good experience at Clark, or because you’re transferring (where are you going?) or graduating (congrats!).
Cath would like to hear how your experience at Clark was – what you liked and how we can make Clark even better.
Please take the Dean of Student Engagement up on this opportunity and email: cbusha at clark dot edu (again, those pesky bots!) the reason(s) why you don’t plan on coming back so we can see what’s possible.
