Help save the Statistical Abstract of the U.S.!
The Statistical Abstract of the United States, published since 1878, is the authoritative and comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic organization of the United States and has long been a great reference resource for all kinds of researchers.
However, the most recent U.S. Census Bureau budget for 2012 includes reductions that will eliminate the Statistical Abstract – both online and print versions!

Hi Lori,
My colleagues and I at The George Washington University’s Gelman Library created a “Save the Statistical Abstract!” video to get the word out.
