Marisol
Reference and Instruction Librarian

- Marisol is collaborating with the Counseling Center and ODEI to bring you a Mental Health Wellness Solidarity Panel this term.
- She is also collaborating with cybersecurity faculty member Giga to bring you a Being Safe Online Q&A webinar.
- Marisol when time allows writes blog posts like this one.
- She also works on collection development and this term has been working on adding popular fiction books to the library collection.
- Marisol has been helping students find books on interesting topics in the second floor book stocks now that more students are coming back to the library space.
- Marisol has been teaching library information sessions as well.

Laura
Reference and Instruction Librarian |
- Laura is working on cataloging the Child & Family Studies library to make it user-friendly, more accessible, and easily searchable.
- She has helped purchase books that represent a broader population of kids and has created a tagging system to help families, students, and teachers find books on a wide variety of topics.
- Laura will be creating monthly bathroom flyers with library information, writing blog posts, and helping with displays.
- Laura baked 10 pies for the Student Involvement Fair! (the apple pie was delish-Marisol’s opinion)
- Laura will review the health books to determine what is outdated, what needs to be replaced, and what new books we should add to support our community.
- Laura is also excited to begin implementing the library’s Equity-Focused Strategic Plan too!

Tammy has been working on:
- LibGuides;
- Marketing through displays and social media;
- Collection Development; and

Katy this term has been:
- Developing academic library collections for students and instructors at Larch Corrections;
- Supporting instructors at Clark who are using Open Educational Resources (OER) to eliminate textbook costs for students;
- Learning new ways to make library classes more engaging and fun for students!

Zachary

Zachary has been working
- hard to make sure the library resources are accessible;
- on increasing his knowledge about accessibility and technical services; and
- leading Technical Services as Interim Technical Services Librarian.

Pavel
IT/Systems Specialist

Pavel has been working on:
- fine-tuning Primo VE- the new cataloging system that the library migrated to over the summer;
- making sure that the cloud-hosted EZproxy, the new authentication system that the library also migrated to over the summer, is working properly. Pavel makes sure it’s configured properly and allows users 24×7 access to resources; and
- working to make sure our website is up to date and has all the relevant information to make our students’ educational lives easier.

Amanda has been
- interviewing students for the library student worker positions;
- checking out loaner computers to students;
- answering questions about access services procedures from librarians; and
- overseeing access services operations.
