Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism Online Guide
Almost one year ago, we shared a statement of solidarity, commitment, and resources in response to continuing violence against Black, Indigenous, and non-Black People of Color (BIPOC). One piece of the work we’ve been doing is creating a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism (DEIA) online guide. It brings together websites, videos, articles, and other resources for the Clark College and wider community. It is not perfect or finished; we will continue to add resources as we learn about them and encourage feedback and suggestions, especially from BIPOC members of our community.
Here’s a brief overview of the guide:
- Allyship in Action
- Support Services for People of Color
- History of Race in the U.S., with information specific to the Pacific Northwest
- Power & Privilege 101, focusing on implicit bias, stereotypes, and microaggressions
- Best Practices to Support Dreamers
- White Supremacy Culture
- Intersectionality, highlighting people, organizations, and resources related to Disability Justice and the LGBTQIA+ community
- Leading with Racial Equity
We want to be accountable for DEIA work and hope that this guide is helpful for you in your work!
