Dr. Ibram X. Kendi wrote an article, The Anti-Racist Reading List: 38 books for those open to changing themselves, and their world for The Atlantic in February of 2019. I discovered this article after listening to a recent talk Dr. Kendi gave about how to be an antiracist. Discovering his list along with Dr. Kendi’s own books and essays inspired me to share some of those books in this blog post. This list will not cover everything in Dr. Kendi’s article, nor all of his other writings; however, it will show you some of the items that you can either borrow immediately, or request from Cannell Library, if you want to read them.
