The General Election is on November 3, 2020. This Voting & Elections Toolkit from the American Library Association has all the information you need about where to find local voting and candidate information. Here are some of the most important details:
Washington residents:
- Washington is a vote-by-mail state
- You can register online or by mail until October 26 and in person until 8 pm on November 3
- Check out the 2020 General Election Voters’ Guide for information about the candidates and measures on your ballot
- Vote Smart has candidate biographies, issue positions, voting records, public statements, and funding information
Oregon residents:
- Oregon also votes by mail
- The voter registration deadline was October 13
