30 Clicks: Information Tools at Your Fingertips
This week: iPad Experience
Thursday, February 24 @ 12:15 pm in LIB 103
If you haven’t figured yet out why an app isn’t software or haven’t had an iPad encounter yet then this session is for you. Touch screens and tablets are here and may likely be a part of your life in the near future. We’ll download an app or two and consider if the world has changed much since the iPad’s introduction nearly a year ago. If you have an iPad, bring it along and share your best app experiences. We will have a few iPads on hand for you to explore and take a brief test drive. There will be an emphasis on media (social or otherwise) and fun.
Interested? Join us in the library for this workshop – everyone is welcome. For a full schedule of 30 Clicks on Thursdays visit: http://www.clark.edu/Library/PDF/Thirty_Clicks%20winter2011.pdf
I’ve never been an Apple brand enthusiast. Now that things are shifting towards tablet pcs just like back in the days laptops were the next greatest thing, I still don’t own any Apple brand products personally but we are using iPads here at work and let me tell you how good this gadgets are.
I’m just gonna say they are everything you want it to be. In the near future it will be everything you’ll see at hospitals, restaurants and many other places. They are just awesome in every aspect.
This is certainly a fantastic write-up. Thanks a lot for spending some time to detail this all out for all of us. It really is a great guide!
